Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser Face Massager Brush

I had been eyeing electric face cleanser brushes for quite some time now and on my birthday it finally moved from the wishlist to the cart. Lo and behold the Pobling Pore Sonic Cleanser Face Massager Brush! Another gift to us from the Korean beauty world.

Amazon and Nykaa have a vast variety of face cleansers which made it quite confusing for me as they had completely contradictory reviews. It took me a while to determine which brush would work the best for me. A little recap on my skin type – super oily and acne prone (with active acne). I did not want to end up with a brush with bristles too harsh for my skin type. The PPSC brush images looked like it had the softest bristles and I must admit it looked the prettiest to me and that is how I zeroed in on that brush.

I purchased it from Nykaa as they had a sale going on. Here's the link.

Original Price - Rs. 2499.00  ( I got an extra brush head for free with the purchase)

This is how I use it : wet the brush head, squirt a pea sized amount of your face wash onto it, turn on the brush and massage your face gently for a minute.  I use it once a day.
When the box arrived home and I held the brush in my hands I was hit by a wave of disappointment. The product felt too light and plastic-y and when I inserted the battery, I realised the brush head merely vibrated and the bristles didn’t rotate. I needed to massage my face with the brush for the face wash to lather up. Despite these initial disappointments, I must say that I’m quite happy with the brush and here is why:
What I like: The bristles are fine and very soft.  The brush isn’t harsh on my face and doesn’t hurt the active acne.
My face feels thoroughly cleansed and I also end up cleaning the grooves around the nose, hairline, neck (areas often ignored while washing the face). The skin doesn’t not feel stretched or dry even after 1 minute of cleansing.
It gets the make-up off!!! I had been struggling with my Nykaa eyeliner daily (INSERT LINK). Post washing my face, I’d have Panda eyes as the eye liner is difficult to wash off but with this brush it comes off easily. However, please be careful while using the brush near the eye, it tends to push the face-wash inside the eye.
My face does look shiny after I use this brush and it may have helped in minimising my pores.
I suppose massaging your face with a vibrating brush head helps in toning and firming the skin.
What I don’t like: It does not remove blackheads/whiteheads and does not help in preventing acne ( atleast in my case) I believe the cause of my acne lies in the food I consume.
I wish the brush head/bristles rotated and I didn’t have to manually massage my face.
Will I repurchase? Yes.
Will I recommend? For those with sensitive skin, yes!

Look what I found at the vegetable market
